Are my eggs fertile and how much longer untill they hatch???

Here are the eggs: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3252/2703613045_2067fa3f53.jpg?v=0 .The two middle eggs are 42 days old today. I keep them at a fairly constant temperature of around 29 degrees centigrade. I spray them daily and have been doing it more now due to their increase in size. The two outer eggs are not as old. Ignore the tortoise eggs in the back.

You spray them daily? DO NOT spray them directly. You heard wrong. I've hatched hundreds opf eggs and have never had to spray them. You shouldn't be getting any water on the eggs if you are. That's a good way to kill them. And the eggs grow because they are absorbing water. It's usually not a problem, but they can absorb too much, so I'd stop. There's no way to tell if they're fertile from looking at the picture, but they probably are good since they haven't gone bad. I keep my eggs in airtight containers. Humidity can't escape from the containers and I never have to spray or add water. Eggs require very little oxygen, so opening the containers once a week allows enough new air in to keep them alive. Incubation time varies based on temperature. They should be hatching soon as long as you stop the spraying.

I can't see anything wrong with them - just playing the waiting game really... when they will hatch - no ones knows :P

ok....so if you want females, incubate at about 79 degrees, if you want more males, incubate at about 89-90 degrees. The eggs will hatch about 6-12 weeks after they are layed depending on the temperature. the ttemp. can never drop below 77 degrees, or exceed 97 degrees.

yeh they seem fertile, if they are still white and plump they should be fine, it normally takes around 60 days to hatch
