Are my electrical problems connected or just piling up on me?

My 2001 Ford Windstar just hit 150000 miles and the bottom fell out. My sliding doors work when they want to. My blower is supposed to be pushing air out the top and then it switches to defrost and then to floor all on its own. The power door lock will work when it wants to. That seems to be whats wrong with the sliding doors because when it works, they are fine. Oh but when the door lock is working the power window just for the drivers door does nothing. Let me not forget, the engine light has now came on for code P302 2nd cylinder misfire but I can not feel any skip or hesitation. Thanks for any advice or where to start.

  1. A bad ground will make an electrical system do lots of weird things . Start there. Then check the wires in the harness between the door and door post. With it constantly being opened and closed the wires can wear through.
