Are my fish okay?(please read details)?

Question

Well right now I'm on vacation at palm beach, FL and I live near orlando so anyway I was just thinking about my fish I know the adults are gonna be ok I forgot to put an algae thin for the fry in the breeding nets to eat and my female platy gave birth right before we left and I'm a little worried. Are the babies in the nets gonna be ok?Are the newborns gonna be ok?

Betta fish can go a month without eating and cichlids about a week or two. For platy, it might die, they can live for a week without eating and fry probably can live up to 4 days without food. Unless there are some leftovers, otherwise, 80% should have been dead by now.

Maybe you should call someone who has a key to your house and have them go over and feed the fish.  I don't know how long you're planning on being away, but fry need tending to.

fish can go for over 2 weeks without eating. They'll  be fine.

Just feed them a nice meal when you get home and do a nice water change. Most the babies are prob not gonna make it though

How long are you gonna be gone? If you are gone more than a week, I doubt all the fry will make it, but if you are gone a week or less they should be fine.
