Question:

Are my friends right was I raped?

I was drunk and my friend pressured me into s*x and took advantage of me. I consented but he was really forceful and rough and when I told him to stop he didn't and just moved me into a different position.

I know he did wrong but I told my friends that I consented but all of them (male and female) are saying that it was rape.

Also I bleed badly afterwards and went into denial about everything. I drank and partied to block it all out

Btw I consented out of fear not want

  1. Yes, that was rape. And this man is obviously not your "friend." You should report him to the authorities before he hurts someone else.

I was in a similar situation to you as well, and it took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that I'd been rape, but that's exactly what it is. You said no and he didn't stop. You were drunk, and he knew it. He was violent and controlling. That's rape.

For reference, from a legal stand point, you are no capable of consenting when you are on a controlled substance including alcohol. Your judgment in impaired, therefore you cannot give informed consent. Legal classifications like that are there for situations just like this.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. You can email me if you like. I hope you feel better.

  2. He did not stop when you told him to that means it is rape. as soon as you said no he should of stopped no matter if you consented beforehand. I'd report him he shouldnt b allowed to do that again to anyone. Dont let anyone tell you different if you said stop he should of. end of.

  3. Yeh

  4. yes it was. from the time you said no and he continue it's rape.he can not be your friend .a Friend will never do that to a friend.

  5. totally its rape

coz u were kinda abused and also forced

    break the rship

  6. Yes.  It is rape if you:

    1. Did not consent.

    OR

    2. Consented under pressure.

    OR

    3.  Was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  7. Yes, it's rape. If you were drunk you were legally unable to consent, no matter what words were used.

  8. report him to the police and get yourself to the doctors for a check up.

  9. 100% rape, also, if your in the middle of it, and you say to stop, he must stop or its considered rape then also.

  10. Yes, you were raped, and he probably isn't your friend.  If he was also drunk he might not have been aware of how grotesque he was being, but I would recommend not drinking with him anymore.  If he wasn't drinking, then he is a total creep.  If you're in school it shouldn't be hard for you to find some counseling, and you could also report him if you think he might do something like this again.

  11. No because in your own words "I consented"

    .

  12. go to the police he is f*cked

  13. yea its rape im sorry.

when u say stop that means stop and this is how the law see's things like this and say its rape.

  14. if you say no at all even if it is after you said yes it is still rape.....i'm sorry  honey you should go get help because drinking and parting will not make it go away...it might help temporally but in the long run the only thing that will help is talking to a professional about it.....

  15. consensual rape

  16. Yes you were raped. You need to report it to the cops right away and go see a doctor and a psychologist for help. I answered this yesterday, stop asking and go seek help like every one says.

  17. you were raped my young lady so go to the police and complain it may not get to court but it should stop the perve doing it again

  18. yess and owwwww. im sry

  19. Go To the police!! It ain't right!

  20. Yes. There are programs that help you recover from this.  They will provide advocates and free counseling.  Here is one site.

    I wish you serenity

  21. The minute you said STOP that was the end of it all, anything you may have said ended anything you may have agreed to has ended

When you said STOP he should have stopped -  It is NOT your fault

  22. If he pressured you into consenting then he knew that you didn't want s*x and by telling him to stop, which he ignored, his actions amount to rape.

Go to the police or you could end up regretting allowing him to take advantage of you. These type of people need to punished, do something now before he does this to someone else. If you don't show him the errors of his ways, he will never change.

  23. If you are coerced into consenting (by threats/fear/whatever).....it is

    Rape.

If you are unable to give give consent (being drunk/druged) it is rape.

If you say to stop, even if you had given full consent, you are withdrawing your consent, and if it does not stop, it is rape.

So yes, it was rape.  Talk to a therapist. Hardest thing with rape that isnt clear forced/violent rape is the room to try to blame it on yourself (saying that you consented.....if you consented out of fear that is not consent.....if you were too drunk to really consent that is not consent.....if you said to stop....that sure as h**l is not consent)  Dont blame yourself.  It was not your fault.  See a therapist or call a rape crisis line.  Also get to the Drs.

  24. thats rape

  25. Hi,

I am not sure what the standing is if you originally consented but the fact that you said no after this and he didn't stop is forced s*x which is rape. I don't know what your legal standing is at this time without evidence or witness but I think the most important thing is for you to get some help. Go to see your doctor and tell them what happened. You can also look up sexual abuse counselling in your area. It sounds like this has effected you enough to want to question it and to try to block it out.

I hope you get the help you deserve and i am sorry for what you have been through. I hope this "friend" is no longer that.

    best wishes
