Question:

Are my hamster's toenails rotting?

Does it look like it needs medical attention, or could it be from just fighting with his wife?

  1. well, they do look a little... red-ish... i'm not really sure about

    "rotting".. they're getting too big though. I recommend you take it to the vet to go get them cut. if you really care for it.. if you try to cut them by yourself, thenit's fingers will bleed... there are blood veins running at the tip of it's finger nails.. (thats y they're born with them)     hope i helped you!! best luck and wishes!!!!

  2. If your hamster is a light color it could just be that the nails are semi-transparent and that is the blood in them(which is what it looks like to me). The nails are a bit long, but if they don't grow quickly you could wait a bit before trimming.
