  1. so you dont know how to hot wire a car or pick someones pocket?

lol... im joking dude... of course you dont.

reach for the sky mate! the world is your oyster... you can anchieve whatever you want to. you are as good as anybody else and dont let anyone tell you different, (even a******s like me who make jokes)

seriously - i wish you all the best mate.

    take care : )

  2. its NEVER too late your just a late bloomer. i hope you go for it or put action into your words man. i was in the same position as you years back and i was so discouraged but i had to find self motivation for me it was my daughter. just keep telling yourself you really want it and EVENTUALLY you will get it. eventually key word here dont get discouraged if you dont achieve all these gggggreat goals overnight. it takes time. okay hope i helped motivate ur azz.

  3. I don't think race should be an issue to learning and the stress factor, And no its never too late, take small steps to getting all you achieve and once on the track don't come off it or you won't get your dreams..

  4. I dont think you're being unrealistic. But you will have to work very hard just like everyone else. Read on how existing millionaires have made it to where they are, Im sure not all of them had qualifications but they must have had enough of the basic skills at a good level. So i would say, just to help yourself, get some basic maths and english qualifications. Otherwise, if you want to be a musician or something, you have to know how to get to where you want to be, learn form how other people have made it to get some ideas and inspiration. If you're passionate about something, and have a talent for it, you'll get somewhere.

Also are you kidding about black people not doing anything great?! Stick to what you want to do and best of luck to you :)

I would like to add that even if you're not the best of the best at something, you can still make something of yourself. You have to combine it with how you are going to put yourself out there and make yourself stand out. Its about business and marketing yourself too.

  5. It is never too late but you actually have to do something and it sounds as though you have a lot of work to do.  To improve your written skills I suggest using the spellchecker.

Unfortunately your choice of future careers is a bit silly - you cannot be all things - that way you will just be nothing.  Choose what you want to do and stick with it.  Whilst you are doing what you choose you can also be building a business to generate income - I suggest you read Rich Dad Poor Dad asap.  You also need to accept that in order to succeed you are going to have to do somethings that do not interest you - dropping out of school was not the smartest thing to do.

Don't look for excuses in your ethnicity.  There is no reason to think that asians or whites are more academically capable than blacks - see you don't need oppressing, you are happy to do it yourself.

And if you want to get into college don't "try".  Trying is a great euphemism for not doing.  You can test this yourself - go ahead and try to do something. You will find that there is doing and there is not doing.  Do whatever you need to do to get into college even if that means spending every minute from now until then studying - that's what creates success - doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done.

Good luck - I am excited for you!

  6. you shouldn't judge yourself or the black race by by what other people have done. you shouldn't feel like you let anyone down either. i think you are being too hard on yourself, you should just focus on what you need to do to pull yourself up. you seem to be your own worst critic, that is a good thing, but you shouldn't get discouraged by things.

  7. Yes. Be realistic.

Learning to play an instrument is achievable, the rest of it probably is not.

  8. Dude ur age race or education has nothing to do with

becoming a billionaire thats a choice

    but you need a job

u need to save all u can

    buy the cheapest foods

live on cheap things build up ur money slowly but surely

after a while money will be magnetised to you as you

look for ways to save it and/or get things free legally of course

  9. your life goals arent unrealistic at all!

just because you dropped out of school with no qualifications does not mean that you cannot acheive everything you want to acheive.

if you cannot be accepted into a college (highly unlikely given the course you want to enrol for) then have a look to see what there is available online.

im sure that if you looked for courses beginning this year or january you will find something in your area, even if it is a night course so that you can still work and earn some money.

at the end of the day you are 22. its not as if you're 72 and thinking oh c**p my life is over soon. dont beat yourself up, tonnes of people are in your position!

try getting your music out there in your spare time.  it doesnt require much money to do so nowadays does it! just start a myspace page, request that your music is put onto sites such a purevolume.com, approach people...the worst they can say is no.

dont worry about thinking you'v let people down.  in situations such as this you kinda have to be a little bit selfish, think of you and what you want to acheive out of life and the rest will follow.   dont let anybody tell you that you cannot aspire to be rich, famous, and inventor etc.

remember anything is possible so keep your chin up and work hard to acheive what you want.  think of it this way..going back to college may seem like extra work for a couple of years...but think of the amount of years you will have afterwards when you dont have to worry about qualifications and what jobs you will be able to apply for.

    believe in yourself honey!

oh and also... going on the course will help you to make friends!! also will give you some connections...you never know, you could meet someone on a music course or something!!

good luck with whatever u choose to do :)

    x

  10. you're kinda building castles in the sky...

just focus on getting into a collage.

  11. I'm not sure, but good luck anyway. :)

  12. Every race has got their let downs, but when it comes to black people, the stereotype is reinforced even more and you shouldn't feel that way.

Now, about your aspirations, I hope that you will focus on the realistic and achievable. 1 step at a time. Now that you are grown up and you see things aren't easy, back to schooling, I hoe you get the grades to go to college and do what you want to do.

It isn't too late, so go out there and show people who you are and what you want to be. Make yourself happy.

I'm not sure about engineering or inventing but Maths and myself, haven't always seen eye to eye since I started A Level but coping I guess.

Inventing eyi, that must be kind of hard, what can you think fo that isn't there already and that might be a necessity to humankind or another use really.

    Good Luck

  13. focus on one thing at a time.

focus on going to college and studying and working your way up from there.

working your way up is the key to success so in order to be successful you have to start from the very bottom, believe me.

You cannot be an inventor, a billionnaire, a musician just like that.

It takes time but foucus on one thing at a time and work upwards.

It takes a lot of time so don't expect anything major soon.

Start by looking for a course you would like to study, apply for many courses, whilst you attend the course maybe try and find a job whilst attending class as this will give you income. Then if you want to stufy music in the meantime [maybe as a hobby to begin with] you can try find a tutor who will be able to tutor you with music lessons in order to help you learn...

Then finish your course, get your qualification etc...

    Work your way upwards...

you just have to put your back into it.

It all pays off in the end.

    Remember, the impossible is possible...

    EDIT:

THE BEST thing to do is maybe draw up a time plan..such as when exactly you will be starting and finishing your course, your aims and where you want to be in say, the next few years...what you wish to achiever afterwards and think of some set backs just incase.. draw up a time scale/plan.

  14. you have a whole lot you want to achieve , go for it

one at a time , get into a college do maths / english

    and take it from there.

you havent let anyone down , there are many achievments

black people have done , how many musicians are black ? dancers ? atheletes ?  comedians ? an its never to late , 22 ur still a babe,

go and get your dreams. but the main thing is ,to be happy

  15. Education is key to being a billionaire business man.  I don't mean you have to go to college for 8 years and get a fancy degree.  I mean you have to educate yourself in the ways of business and know whatever business you want to be in like the back of your hand.

You can learn an instrument yourself.  The hard part is finding a band and then making it big.

You have not let Black people down because people of all races go through what you are going through.  I really don't think it's easier for someone because of race.  Money, on the other hand, may make these things a bit easier, especially the business stuff.

Do what you need to do to follow your dreams!

    Good Luck!!
