Are my parents being fair?

im going to florida tuesday with my aunt, uncle and cousin for 5 days and i wanted to say bye to my friends tomorrow but i have to go to my aunts instead so now i cant do anything tomorrow and i have to pack all night today

  1. I agree that you can just call them and say bye. It's only 5 days. You not going to die. and this person below me is an idiot and should get slapped across the face. She is a prime example of a spoiled unpunished brat.


  2. sounds fair to me. Call your friends and have them come over and you can say goodbye while you pack.

  4. It's a pretty fair guess that you are going to your aunt's tomorrow in order to make it simpler for everyone to depart on Tuesday.

    You are going to Florida with family. You should be excited about the trip and grateful that your aunt and uncle are bringing you.  If it makes things easier for them for you to be over at their house tomorrow, you should remember that they are being kind enough to include you on this big and probably expensive trip.

    You should do anything you can to make things easier for them.  Think about your family and just give your friends a call tonight.  Promise to send them a post card.  

    So yes, I think your parents are being absolutely fair.  

  5. How are they not being fair? You can call your friends on the phone and say bye while packing. You'll only be gone 5 days not for a year or a lifetime. Use the phone.

    Sorry, kiddo.  Organizing a trip like this is a piece of work.  And if you're having to "pack all night" that only shows how much work you have yet to do; not much time to hang with your friends.

    I suspect your friends will be there when you get back.  It's not like you or they are dropping off the planet.

  12. no, its not fair. sneek out in the middle of the night and hang out with them for a while and have fun before you leave. parents dont tell me what to do!
