Question:

Are my pecks supposed to be different shapes?

okay so I've been working out for a few months and I've seen a lot of muscle development... but when I flex my peck in the mirror, I can see that my left one is slightly flatter on the bottom whereas the other is more rounded... so am I working one harder than the other? or are they naturally shaped a bit different?

  1. I had the same thing happen to me except my left one was more rounder, I have evened mine out by using dumbells for bench press instead of a flat bar.  That way you know you are working out each side evenly.


  2. Thats pretty normal.  You may be able to compensate a bit by adding a few more reps on one side, but if they're equal sized there's nothing to worry about.
