  1. Pending what kind of news they send out. If it's traffic reports, probably trust worthy, if it's weather info, I'd look into that myself just cause so many people predict weather, yet rarely are people actually on target with that one. All depends on the kind of news.

  2. most likely not...they have correspondants all over but that doesnt mean they know what is going on in any given situation

  3. Realistically speaking, they really are pretty accurate. Most of the news is simply reciting facts without a great deal of room for interpretation, and the folks at the national level usually get things right. The local outlets are more likely to get the facts wrong.

Is there some bias in the news? Sure, in part because reporters have to print what people tell them and they bring their own experiences into the story. But people who write off all news stories for that reason really aren't paying attention or have their own agendas.

  4. I don't believe they are that accurate anymore. These days they are too much into pushing their own agenda whether it's a Liberal or a Conservative view.

  5. What is wrong with the national news media, is the fact that there is no investigative reporting going on, and merely a parroting of the spin that the media gets  that comes from whatever the organization or event gives them. Therefore we never get the true story, just the spin, where they convince you that black is white and white is black.
