Are new weapons coming out for cod4?

i heard some one talk about it online. is this true or just another rumor

Yes, there are mods. Somehow I ended up in one multiplayer game where it began by downloading some kind of mod, and in the game were several different, WWII era, rifles, including an old timey sniper rifle, some kind of M1 Garand rifle, and some foreign rifles. And you couldn't play your usual classes or custom classes, you had to choose WWII type classes they offered you. Afterwards when I joined a regular game the mod weapons were gone and I don't know how to find that kind of mod game again, but I'm sure I could look it up on Google if I did.
