Are newer vehicles equipped with MP3 players or some type of feature in the radio CD player?

While at Church, I picked up a disc of The Bible and my papstor told me it is only for newer vehicles with the MP3 player feature. What is this and how long has it been around?

if it is a cd it should work in any car really. the only thing i see that would be different now it different cars is that some bring an aux so you can plug in an aux cable and connect that to an ipod or any other mp3 player.
