my george foreman grill is coated with a nonstick surface. my friend says that over time and extreme heat, the nonstick surface actually rubs off onto the food and you end up eating it.

  1. on floors I would agree

  2. Yes, I know what your friend means. This is typical of nearly all electric grills no matter what brand they are! I usually wrap my food whether it was a sandwich or a steak in aluminum foil before placing it in the grill, this way I do not need to worry about that surface rubbing onto the food, the food still gets grilled and there is no mess on the grill surface to clean after wards!!!!
