  1. Nuts contain a lot of fat but it's healthy fat, but like anything if you eat too many yes they can be fattening.  A handful of almonds is about 100 calories.

  2. quite a lot of good fat and high in protein. good if you're a vegetarian and also they contain a lot of vitamin B

  3. They are high in good fat and high in calories.  They also are a good source of protein.  It is great to eat them in moderation.

  4. Nuts do contain fats, but mostly good fats

  5. Yes, nuts DO contain a lot of fats, but they're not the fats in ice cream or butter. They're the "good" fats, but too much of them won't do you good, either. Do, eat just ONE handful of nuts each day and you should be good. =D They're also great sources of protein if you don't eat meat.

Doctors also say that nuts lower your cholesterol.

  6. just a handfull of raw nuts a day wont fatten you at all...it will actually help you to lose excess body fat if you are already eating healthy and active...

  7. It depends on what nut you are eating and how many you eat.  I eat about 1/4 cup of almonds per day.  That is roughly 100 calories and about 10 grams of fat, but it is healthy fat.  Watch your nuts.  Read labels.  Not all nuts are healthy.  Go for natural or roasted with little or no salt.
