  1. depends on the mirror.... it's quite possible.

  2. I guess it is if it is convex (curved outwards)

  3. it depends on the shape of the mirror; the concavity. concave mirrors will shrink things, while convex mirrors will make them bulbous.

  4. Dunno, but my camera phone gives me a huge bulbous nose!

  5. Depends on the mirror!

  6. In a perfectly flat mirror, the virtual image is the same size as the actual object, but if the mirror is convex (curved so that the bulge is toward the observer), the virtual image appears larger. So, it depends on the type of mirror.

  7. yes, it's the mirror, your nose isn't as big as it looks in the mirror--it's as small or as big as it looks in the picture...if a bug is ON the mirror of a car, the object is actually the same size as it appears on the mirror--but then why were you driving so fast backward that you killed the bug?

  8. i think it applies to a concave mirror(or is it convex?) on the side of some vehicles which says 'objects in the mirror are closer than they appear'

  9. isn't that just for those car mirrors?

  10. i'm 4'9 but in the mirror I look like shaq's big brother

  11. If the mirror surface is perfectly flat, then no. In all probability, it was more likely the camera that distorted the image.

  12. If the mirror is flat....NO

    But if it is convex..Yes

    Concave....Smaller
