Question:

Are old golf clubs worth anything?

My neighbor was throwing out some old golf clubs and gave them to me. They're Jack Nicklaus and look pretty old. The woods are actually wood and they look a little rusted. Are these just junk, or do people collect these or anything?

  1. More than likely they're not worth anything...sometimes people use old clubs as decoration in rooms. You're probably better off giving them to good will...they may ship them overseas to kids that have no equipment.

  2. You'll find that people will collect anything and there very well be someone that would want these. But they're not "collectible" in the sense that they have a tremendous amount of value. The cost to restore these to original conditional would outweigh any return on value.

  3. Most older clubs arent worth anything. Sounds like a 60s or 70s set that wont be worth anything at all in that condition. I have clubs made in the 20s that really arent worth much either. It all depends how common they are and what condition they are in.

  4. If Jack actually played with those clubs they might have some value. If not worthless.

  5. really old clubs are worth a lot but those aren't really old so there pretty much worthless
