Are organic, nitrate free deli meats still bad for you?

..Because it is still a processed meat product? I usually get this one by Applegate Farms: http://www.applegatefarms.com/Products/Details.aspx?ProductID=149

I'm just suspicious of the ingredient "carrageenan" as I heard that this may denote MSG.

  1. yes, they are.. becasue they're not as safe as fully treated and processed meats, stop being a fool and put some small form of trust in the FDA's standards


  2. They are still bad for you...I just heard all (even organic, no antibiotic) poultry is soaked in chlorine for an hour to get salmonella, E. Coli, etc. out of them.
