    Organic means growing food without synthetic chemicals. Some people view this as one way to be eco-friendly.

    Eco-friendly means avoiding harm to the environment. There are many ways to be eco-friendly--not littering, planting trees, not dumping chemicals into rivers, etc.--that have little or nothing to do with organic growing.
