I do realize that state law enforcement faces dangers (up to life threatening dangers) going into battle everyday with their lives at stake against an evil core of corruption but that tells us that we are all inherintly evil and everytime I see a police man I have to fear being shackled because the cop can never be too sure who I am, because everyday his life is in danger because of who? US isn't it? Aren't we all the bad guys then.? But how can I put my full faith and trust in the cops? They can't trust who I am on one look, they can never be too careful because nowadays more than 70% people I guess are just corrupt so everday life livers have to make sure they themselves are clear and in the good. I have seen people shackled for no reason, cops doing whatever they want, whenever they want because they have been given authority from who? Who gave them the power vested in a swat team or a quorum of 12 cops to basically have power over my whole self I just submit and hope Im lucky or.?

  1. It may have to do with excessive use of force, authoritarianism and corruption.

  2. Under our system, the people of a country have a right to protest. That is a co-ordinated protest which is in itself orderly.  Anybody who is objectionable and property destroyers under this situation are subject to the laws of the country irregardless.

But you. If you want to get caught up with irresponsibility, just you continue the way you seem to be wanting to go. Yes, you will be caught up and you can face the judge in court and be told this same thing.  Monkey see, monkey do. You want to be monkey, you pay the price without complaint. Okay?

  3. be a good person, dont break laws.hope your dealing with a good cop if you have to.cops are people too, good and bad. (it should be harder to become a cop,but not many people want to,so they have to take who they can)I was handcuffed, questioned, and car towed away(white, girl) because i was in the wrong neighborhood at the wrong time(a girl was shot 1 block away with the same kind of car) they are scared, and just trying to do the right thing.i was mad.but its better then no one trying to find out who did it. think about countries with no freedom or protection..

  4. It sounds like your being profiled.

I don't agree with you that we are all inherently evil for we are not. If you really want to put your faith in the cops, befriend a cop. Easy for me to say, I know.

But you do write fairly well, and my guess would be that you speak just as well too. That's a good thing. Perhaps you should find out what it would take for you to learn a career in law enforcement. Sometimes the best change comes from the inside.

Or you could get the ear of a news reporter and tell them about abuses that you've seen. The police are just like everybody else. They don't like bad press either. And good cops, really don't like bad cops.

    Good luck to you!

  5. Either you're being pretty reactionary (most likely), or where you live sucks.

Where I live sucked, and I moved. The cops here are incredibly professional and cool despite some of the big city insanity.

  6. Try to put yourself in the shoes of a cop.  You have to judge everyone by their cover because they could potentially kill you and then your daughter and husband/wife would have to go to your funeral.

They are given the power to enforce law and will do whatever it takes to protect themselves and everyone else they encounter.  If their power has been increased it is more than likely due to an increase in or threat of crime.  Remember too that they are human and do make mistakes.  Thats why you can always get a lawyer, which is the other half of law enforcement.
