Are pads safer than tampons?

yeah but tampons are just fine if u just change em every 8 hours. They're way more comfy and less messy, u can't even feel em!

Yeah, they're way safer than tampons! I mean they may make your area down there itch sometimes but it won't give you TSS (toxic shock syndrome). A tampon will.

Yes they are. Tampons are linked with a dangerous disease called Toxic Shock Syndrome. TSS is a type of bacteria that grows in moist enviornments, like a bloody tampon in your v****a. If you take your tampon out before 8 hours, then you should be fine.

yeaa, you can get tss if you leave them in too long. although, i'd much rather use tampons. pads just get gross. the only time i use them is when im at home and at night. if im at a friends overnight though, tampon it is.

in short, yea, pads are safer. but i like tampons better.

yes they are...theyre just really uncomfortable....and you could get tss(toxic shock syndrome from tampons...but theyre more comfortable..

theartically yes, u can get tss from tampons but iff u take them out every 6 hours u will not get tss and tss is very uncommon. in my opinion i like tampons better they are much cleaner. but dont worry tampons arent dangerous.

yes they are, but theyre definitely messier.

if you use a tampon with too high of an absorbency for your body, you risk getting toxic shock syndrome (tss) which i think if really serious can kill you. you shouldnt keep one in for more than 8 hours.

yeah i heard that you can get some disease because you leave your tampon in for too long.

Yes, because tampons have a risk for tss, but that is only from super absorbency tampons. If you change your tampon regularly and don't use super you should be safe.

pads are safer.  you can't get a disease with pads.  but tampons are more comfortable and less messy.  i definitely choose tampons over pads.

Yeah you can get TSS, although in my opinion tampons are better to use than pads because their not as messy and definately good for people with heavy periods. But just because you use tampons doesnt mean you will definately get TSS so I wouldnt let that hold you back.

Whatever is more comfortable / convenient for you though
