Are pantsuits that are baby pink and mint green appropriate for an office work environment?

I used to work in a VERY low key work environment. I could wear these suits without raising eybrows, but I am wondering if I can wear these two colors in a real professional environment like government. I wear a string of white pearls with ivory flats with these suits. Very simple look. I am just worried about how pastel colors are recieved by the real work force. I have no interest in working in corporate/business where I know these two colors would never be acceptable!

  1. Maybe if it were 1985....and you were on the set of MIami Vice

  2. no, that is chuch or visiting attire.

  3. It sounds really bad.  I am a manager and I would not think this is appropriate office wear.

  4. Pastel colours will not work in that environment, the corporate work force has very much always been dominated by dark colours

  5. If you're at a desk it's fine...if you're out and about then those colors would be distracting.

  6. Too Easter looking.

  7. Yes, as long as you are one of Santa's elves.

  8. In government jobs, it's dark suits and outfits.  I can't image what these pant suits look like being those colors, but I would steer away from that if you are looking for a government job.
