My parakeets are light blue and dark blue. Would it be possible for their babies to be yellow or green, or would all of the babies be different shades of blue?

  1. No all the time but most likely depending on their own grand parents, as color will skip a generation.

  2. no not at all

  3. yes mabey depending on the generation of parakeets

  4. parakeets babies can be any color that is in their parents jeans so if yellow is in the parents jeans somewhere down the line, there is a chance that 2 blue parakeets could have yellow babies, that is the same with any other color...  now i am not positive but i do believe in order to get lutino babies, both the parents have to be lutino as well...  and it may be the same with albinos... but you can get ordinary green, purple, yellow, or any other color babies...  so yes it is possible to get green or yellow babies if the parents have those particular colors in their jeans...
