  1. No.  Unequivocally no.

The ONLY thing they can do is turn their kid in to juvenile authorites if they are committing crimes.

  2. They can't kick under aged children out into the street.

But there are alternatives to that.

Ever heard of boot camp for teens?

  3. Actually, it depends on a few things. If that child is doing something that the parents feel is threatening, or harming to themselves, or any siblings. They DO have a right to call the police, and have a minor child removed.

There are, other reasons they may be allowed to, it just depends on your situation. Want more info, give more info so we can answer you properly.

  4. theyre allowed to legally emancipate you....

  5. If a teen is 16 years old it can be legal for parents to kick the child out of the home if the child is disruptive to the family unit.  The best way to do this is via Social Services where the minor child is either emancipated or placed into foster care juvenile detention.  No family has to put up with a child who is constant trouble.

  6. only if they are 18 or older.but younger they should be charged

  7. I have taken in several teens who were kicked out of the house by their parents.  In two of the cases the police and CPS knew about it and did nothing.  I'm not saying it's legal, but it does happen quite often with no repercussions.

  8. if they are under 18, then the guardian isn't allowed to kick them out *without a place to go*.

  9. if you are causing problems in the home yes they have a right to kick you out.

did you think that they have to take c**p from some out of control kid?  well they don't.

ya know, if they did kick you out you could call the police, then they would talk to your parents and then you could go live with some nice foster family!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Ahhh old times i remember my mom used to kick me out of the house, when i was younger. And i start bangning on the door an hour later. But this is the night my parents finally figured that i was growing up. 1 night my mom kicked me out, and i started walking the streets until i came up to my neighbors home, and i went in their, lol they told me too spend the night, but finally my bro came and got me.

  11. Generally no, you can't kick them out.  If they're doing something illegal, you can have them arrested, though.  If you're having enormous trouble, you could contact the department of social services for advice.  Some places have programs that can help, and if they don't help, you have legal recourse and support for holding the kid accountable.

What's up?  I have teens, and I'm a counselor too.  It can be a frustrating time.
