  1. Rhino is right...age makes no difference.  Passports are not needed for sea travel until June 2009.  BUT...some cruise lines like all passengers to have passports...so it is best to call and ASK them.  Also, if both parents are not going, a letter of permission signed by the absent parent and notarized is required.

  3. Crossing the border by land or by ship a passport in not require until June 1st 2009.  Anybody flying must have one now.

  4. yeah it is required for childeren to have a passport when getting out of the country. now it is required for all people to have a passport before leaving the united states.
