Are pellet guns required by law to have orange tips? I live in Kentucky.?

I would like to get a pellet gun soon but I heard that they have to have an orange tip on the end. However, the ones I like don't have this. Is it still legal to get them?

All airsoft do everywhere. Blacken the tip and you've committed a serious crime. Walk down the street with your airgun and see how the police react.

Adult airguns that shoot lead pellets do NOT require an orange tip.

Airsoft toys that shoot plastic BBs do.

Honestly, I don't know about Kentucky, but common sense should be  universal; the orange tips let police know that it's not a real gun and thereby not a threat to their lives should they stop you or see you carrying it.

well since you said pellet gun you dont need the orange tip because I have two pellet guns and they didnt come with orange tips and I'm not required to get them.
