Are people failing to realize that Palin would be the president if McCain bites the dust during his term?

Yes, death can happen any day, any time, any age, but let's face it - McCain is old and has already had many health issues. We, as a nation, need to realize that it's very possible that he may not make it through a 4 year term.

Are people forgetting that Palin's experience doesn't hold a light to Obama's? That if she were to take over as President our country would turn into shambles and everything we have worked for would be discarded?

  1. then we have the first female president lolol sry hilary lolol and if mccain wins ww3 lol old ppl and their depression raised in one and depressed in their whole life time

  2. But that's not fair! She has Five Children. She chose to keep her Down Syndrome infant. Her husband is a Commerical Fisherman. She has a WONDERFUL STORY!!!

We all like her!!! The world will love her!!! Give her a chance!!! Even if we just met her less than a week ago.

    She's got "EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE"

  3. As pointed out in a recent LA Times article,

"The actuarial tables on the Social Security Administration website suggest that there is a better than 10% chance that McCain will die during his first term in office. Should President McCain survive his first term and get elected to a second, there is a 27% chance that Palin will become the first female U.S. president by 2015. If we take into account McCain's medical history and the pressures of the presidency, the odds probably increase considerably that this bright-eyed Alaskan will become the most powerful woman in history.

    ...

Is Palin remotely qualified to be president of the United States? No. But that's precisely what is so interesting. McCain not only has thrown all sensible concerns about good governance aside merely to pander to a sliver of female and masses of conservative Christian voters, he has turned this period of American history into an episode of high-stakes reality television"

  4. Obama has no experience-period.  No executive experience-only 143 days in the Senate.  No authored bills.

Palin is much more experienced in running a governement agency than the messiah.

  5. No, most of us are very well informed and are aware of the 24th Amendment.  Obama has had no, zero, nada executive experience, and his legislative experience is minimal at best.  Palin, on the other hand has been an executive dealing with legislative branches (just like the POTUS is required to do).. so your argument is flawed.  "Palin's experience doesn't hold a candle to Obama's" is patently wrong.

  6. Many are realizing that.  It is not just Democrats that think this was a big mistake.  I have talked to very few Republicans that think this was wise either.  This one move may have, in fact, cost McCain this election.

(The "Country First" signs some were holding last night only served to raise my ire considering he obviously DID NOT do that when he picked this nominee).

  7. thats why Obama is going to win. He is way better then McCain and has alot better ideas. and i personally am sick of hearing about Palin having more experience than Obama. Obama is smarter than her! He has better ideas and they actually make sense.

    and...

If McCain does win this election its only bc Obama is black. i mean how many times has he ran and he is just now a primary candidate?

  8. Palin would do just fine if JM should die. I hope he doesn't. But when SP does run for prez whether it's in 4 yrs or 8 I'll be voting for Sarah.

    {you women who can support Palin make me physically ill. She is AGAINST pro-choice, against a women's right to have control of our bodies!}

Sarah thinks women have the right to be born, Approximately 1/2 of the babies slaughtered by abortion are girls, and many of them because they are girls. Go McCain/Palin 2008!!

  9. Let me get this straight.  You fear the possibility of an experienced President dying and having an less experienced Vice President take over.  But you have no problem with an inexperienced guy becoming President right off the bat?

I guess Logic takes a holiday.

  10. Please break down for me how her experience and his is any different.

I would like to hear it.

Biden is going to have to mentor Obama which is not as it should be.

McCain will be mentoring Palin the correct way to work that equation.

  11. YA forum is totally full of Republican sheep.  Haven't you noticed that?

I totally agree with you.  The choice of Palin is an insult to my intelligence.  To compare that woman to Hillary laughable.

We are in very deep doo doo if the sheep elect McCain. Number One, the first thing on their docket would be to overtune Roe v. Wade.  That's just what this country needs, right?  Instead of Change, we get blasted back to the 19th century, with girls in trouble using coat hangers on themselves and swallowing lethal amounts of drugs in an effort to self abort.

Stupid, stupid, STUPID sheep.  The same morons who voted for Bush not once, but TWICE!  And look at the trouble this country is now in.

It's like Laurel and Hardy, (Stan rubbing his head, saying, " ...another fine mess you've gotten us into, Ollie!)

  12. Palin would have no trouble stepping up to the task.

I'd like to remind everyone that the Dali Lama advised us to choose "a female, mother, woman" to lead with compassion- the Dems just assumed that meant Hillary. As hokey as he can seem he has been right before and we as a nation support his views in regards to Tibet.

  13. That is why I feel Mccain's choice was really irresponsible. It's not Palin vs Obama IT's Palin vs Biden Obama vs McCain.

Biden is waaaay more experienced than Palin. The republicans are crazy. She won't stand a chance debating biden.

  14. I think you need to take a closer look at her experience. When was the last time a Sen. was elected President? There is a reason we elect Gov. to be president. They have experience governing. Sen. do not. They make laws we don't need and spend money that isn't theirs. Pres. Palin sounds great to me.

  15. Still better than Obama.

Palin has more experience than Obama.  Stop fooling yourself.

  16. LOL @ "Palin's experience doesn't hold a light to Obama's".  Do a little research before making such an obsurd statement.  In any instance she is only runnig fro VP not President.  Obama has less experience then Mccain's VP, that just says it all.

  17. I'm sorry I don't believe someone's age predicts their death. Sadly I know many people under 50 who I have attended their funerals. Unfortunately we can die at any age, any way. I am more comfortable with Palin as president than Obama.

  18. palins experience does exceed obamas in numerous ways.

you mean that someone who is more qualified than obama could be just a heart beat away from the presidency?  Sounds good to me.

  19. Every one exept McCain gets it, imagine poor little Palin in the same room as Armendinijad(probably spelt wrong)of Iran. Good Night Vienna!!! Start of WW3.

  20. I don't know if they don't realize it, or just don't care. The McCain supporters (previously known as the Bushies) don't really care about the country, but only about winning.

If Palin becomes president, it will be the thing sitcoms are made of...only more tragic.

  21. Wow. What? What experience are you talking about exactly? The only thing Obama has experience in is dancing all over the issues. I wouldn't mind if Palin was president, it's better than that n**i terrorist you're pushing.

Edit---- You women who are pro murdering your own babies make me ill. That's EXACTLY the reason I support her. She doesn't support murdering babies to save people the inconvenience of having them. Pro murder supporters make me ill.

  22. Our country will become he joke...sure she can balance he check...so can my mom

  23. it's possible. and Palin would make an amazing president as well. sure, her experience is comparable to Obama's. but hey, at least she had many accomplishments while she held the position that she did. for example locking up corrupt politicians (including Republicans), setting up pro life initiatives and standing by that herself. not to mention she has roughly a 90% approval rating as Alaska's governor.

  24. Do you really think the majority of the United States doesn't know what happens if the president bites the dust?  OH, I thought we'd have another election!  What was I thinking?  DUH, she will be president if he dies.  And Palin may not have the time in for experience that Obama has, but she does have more executive experience AND in the short time she has been in office in Alaska, she has done a world of good for the State, so what the problem?

  25. It's sad how people like you act that If you are over the age of 50 you have one foot In the grave.I mean really do you people talk to your grandparents or parents that way.

  26. Palin's experience is in running a Popsicles Stand for two years. The Kool Aide drinkers want to somehow believe that makes one qualified for POTUS and it doesn't as you have accurately pointed out. She became mayor because she had name recognition from being a contestant in a beauty pageant. her sole claim to fame is that she looked good in a bathing suit. Alaska has only 600,000 people. Any large city mayor or governor is much more qualified than she. Only some one drunk on Republican Kool Aide could think that she's qualified in any way.

  27. Obama has zero experience, and he's shown repeatedly that he has poor judgment ... his choice for a wife, his choice in church, his choice in friends, his choice for VP...  what Palin lacks in experience she makes up for in character.  Obama has neither.

  28. Palin's experience outweighs Obama's experience, by far.

That is why I'm voting for the McCain/Palin ticket!

  29. Duh Wow I didn't realize it. Cool she would be awesome as President. h**l lets have her and McCain trade places. I would rather her be President anyways.

  30. Palin has executive experience, meaning she makes the decisions.  Obama has NEVER had executive experience in any capacity (and we KNOW he doesn't at home).  You can't get past that fact, Obama is NOT more experienced than her.  I know the Europeans love him, still does not make him experienced.

  31. That's exactly what i was thinking. He is to old to be running for president. they should have a age limit he needs to be running to a nursing home.
