Like the college age crowd. Most are going to be to busy hitting bowls or too hung over to go stand in line at the polls.

Palin on the other hand, will inspire people to vote who would normally vote, soccer moms for example.

  1. I'm a soccer mom and a mother of 3 and there is no way in h**l I would ever vote for Palin.......no way! But I will get off my *** and vote for Obama!!!!   Mccain is stupid if he thinks women will fall for this BS VP, we know what's really going....geez he is so stupid!

  2. Hmm... I'm 22 and I've voted in every election I can get my hands on. But it scares the c**p out of me that I don't think Obama will get in. He is an amazing and inspiring leader, and has every right to take America out of the bad image and crises that it has found itself in, however I am truly afraid this will be a repeat of the last election.

If George W. Bush got in the second time... well that just goes to show what will probably happen. I don't think it even matters who runs. I mean the guy was a clear cut idiot and utter fool and yet he won an election?

Maybe these people will vote... I really hope so. But I remember last time the huge MTV campaigns, and how P. Diddy (or whatever the h**l he goes by these days) was wearing those "VOTE" shirts everywhere. And look what happened...

I sure hope Obama gets in; I just don't see it happening...

  3. You are just digging a deeper hole for the republicans.

  4. You insult soccer moms, they all don't vote for Republicans who make milk and meat go so high, or their kids have tons of homework they have to supervise, for that matter there aren't as many moms at the soccer fields anymore, they had to go to work.

More quietly than anyone noticed, they are mad, mad at Republicans.

You don't lie to moms, they don't like that, and the Republicans  did.

  5. yep

  6. The college scene is pretty active in social and political issues. Soccer moms typically have less time to get overly involved.

I've found that most of the middle and high schoolers support Obama over McCain. They are the only ones too young to vote.

  7. They will surprise you, and we don't  buy her hockey mom front!

  8. I am disappointed in this post, demorat.  I think you can do better.

Obama inspired a lot of OLD people too...who DO vote.

Granted this is better than some of your previous postings..but where is the debate on issues?   Reading tea leaves should be left for fortune  tellers, especially if there are no facts to support your predictions.

If you want 4 more years of the past 8 years, then don't vote for Obama.

    With McCain, past is prologue.

The demorat is making an assertion that is not based on fact, so the answer is no.  People are not forgetting what was not true to begin with.

  9. Obama also inspires whites who have never voted, but will get off their butts this fall and vote just to make sure we don't ever take that all too important first step toward becoming what Detroit, Haiti, and Zimbabwe already are.
