Are people from out of state scared to drive in New York becuase of the aggresive driving?

Can people from states with more courteous driving survive in new york with all its aggressive driving?

I'm from California.  We may not have invented agressive driving, but I think we've perfected the technique for doing it at high speed.

Yes but at the same time it is alot of other states as well.

That's only because of reputation, but in reality, NYC drivers are courteous, and know how to drive. The people you need to watch are NJ drivers and Long Island drivers, both of them drive like LA drivers. Especially watch out as a pedestrian.

And I second that for other people. Miami has the worst aggressive drivers I've ever seen. I thought I've seen bad drivers in LA, and Philly... Miami wins by a mile.

I'm from NYC. Miami FL drivers are worse than us. We don't drive too aggressively. It's not what you think it is.
