Are people like Hillary and Obama proud of the people that are serving in our military?

It's funny, I don't recall seeing any veterans at the DNC. All I remember is a bunch of fanatics yelling "O-bam-a". On the other hand, the RNC has been full of veterans, and I've heard many people there honor and praise our servicemen and women for their dedication and sacrifice. And what exactly have the crowds been chanting there at the RNC? "U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A!"

Of course they are proud of people with that type of courage, unlike chicken hawk Bush.  They just hate the President and they should everyone does.

I don't recall a single tribute or message being sent to thank the troops coming from the Democratic National Convention.

There were several of them at the Republican Convention.

"Support the troops..."  Yeah, sure.

Only when it makes him look good. Hillary on the other hand has been known and seen shaking the hands of the soldiers and thanking them. She may not support the war but she supports the soldiers. He however brushed them off when he went on his rock star tour and finally right before he left Iraq realized that he needed a photo op to look good.

I think everyone has respect and concern for our troops.  To suggest otherwise is to present untruths.

I'm proud of the military; however, I'm not so fond of useless wars that cost $10 billion a week and get our troops killed for no reason.

Only if they're dying so they can rip on Bush. The only good soldier to a Demoncrat is a dead soldier.

On the other hand, BOTH Republican candidates will have family serving in Iraq in a week.
