From what I've seen in this world it seems to be insanity but maybe it's just clouding the truth.

  1. People are headed somewhere in between insanity and enlightenment.

  2. Both looks and mean the same in an eye of a crowd walking the path of American Dream..

  3. Insanity....but if you ask any insane person which path they walk the truly believe they approach enlightenment. Its only when the insane person acknowledges he is on the road to insanity is true enlightenment gained.

  4. It depends on the road taken.

  5. I think we're more naturally on the path to enlightenment because from day one we are constantly learning.  It's human nature to want to know things and understand them and it is this processing part of the path to enlightenment that feels like insanity and it's why we think we're going through life just chasing our own tails.

  6. In   rural  areas   and   wild places  they  are  heading into   enlightment..

in   any  city  ..  or  town..  they r   going  the  other  direction!!

  7. I think we're headed towards enlightenment on an insane path. (though I also think that pure enlightenment must seem insane.O_o)

  8. insanity of course.

  9. They are one in the same.  People actually have no real understanding of the two terms.

  10. By enlightened that means you have managed to handle your own insanity.

I assume that enlightened here means to have such a new knowledge human had never found before. Well if that's so, it started out with a little bit of insanity; by asking question no human is able to think of. Asking millions of questions until they plague your mind, you'll be forced to find answer to those questions to ease your mind. But in the process itself, not everyone would be able to handle such a huge amount of mind dazzling questions without having able to answer all of them at once. This is where your mind could get actually insane as soon as your mind could not handle it anymore.

But if you are able to pass that certain point of near-insanity, that is when you yourself answer all the questions that plagued your mind - you are enlightened. When your mind is at a sudden state of peace. That's when you know you are enlightened. The feeling is basically the similar as when you're trying to figure out and recall an answer of a question in your exam because you didn't study well last night when suddenly the answer popped out of your mind and AHA!! Yeah, that's how it feels; times it by millions and billions and you get the feeling of enlightenment. But what happens when you can't find the answer? Depression. Times it by millions and billions and you get insanity.

Why did I say that? Because I believe that no enlightenment would just come by itself on a very static, passive mind. Enlightenment came from an endless questioning and contemplating over the greatest questions of the world.

  11. the moral code of self sacrifice (any supernatural system)

self sacrifices the mind of the individual that would hold such a code.  does it's job in pulling us all towards insanity.  Job well done. An accepted moral code, always meets it's own ends.
