Question:

Are people on here really naieve?

I often see questions which are obviously not from who the asker is saying they are...like ones where they pretend to be teenagers and then ask REALLY detailed stuff about spanking or similar pervy things...their Q&A's are always private and the language used is often that of an adult male...they stand out like a sore thumb to me...but people always answer their Qs and dont notice! Why don't people notice and why isn't Yahoo better at weeding them out...it worries me...that people on here might be contacting teens and pretending to be other than what they are.

  1. Yahoo Answers is community-moderated only. If questions like the ones you listed go unreported, Yahoo will never know about them in the first place, let alone "weed them out"

So report 'em. The purpose of this site is not for diaper fetishists, urine fetishists, spanking fetishists, or any other type of pervert, to get their jollies.

  2. Being new to this, i'm glad you brought it up as the thought hadn't occured to me. I did think the odd question was obviously a load of rubbish as no-one would come on a board designed for pregnant women/parents and people trying to concieve and ask for details on abortion or whether getting pregnant to get attention is a good idea (have seen both these questions in the last couple of days), but I don't think I thought of the more serious side - adults trying to contact teens as you say. Is there anything we can do about it?

Perhaps just making the rest of us aware of it might stop people answering the p*** takers, therefore taking away the point in them doing it?

  3. I know exactly what you are talking about. I always have something to say to the obvious "Im 13 and my mum spanked me with no panties on" perverts. I mean kids don't even talk in that way. It sickens me!

  4. The reason is because you are going on intuition and you really need proof.

    .

  5. I agree.. But two points is two points. I'm not going to put effort into answering those questions; but I'm not going to put effort into looking at people's profile's either. And to be safe, I just don't talk to anyone on this site. There's way too many weirdos out there.

  6. Either teenage trolls or coppers with the intelligence of Chief Wiggum hoping to ensnare similar dimwits.  I don't think real pervs would dare be so obvious in a place where every word is monitored and analysed.

  7. At least your switched on to the perv es.....this is the trouble with sites like this. You can sign up and pretend to be anyone.

I don't like hearing stories about young people taking to perv es like the one you have described and YES it is ABOUT TIME something was done about them.

Some people sign up using false names to protect themselves and I think that is fine, but signing up to pretend your a teenage girl is just wrong.

I am 25 and I have read a few of the questions like you have described and I see the answers from the younger girls and think its soooo horrible.

Younger people are more vulnerable and the perv es know this and take advantage of this.

    People like that need help!!!!

  8. or questions like "help plz i f*cked my friends mom n she iz prgnant help she iz so hot". it's rather disgusting and brutal. so many people in this WORLD are that naive. look at america and their president.

  9. Fortunately I know how to watch out for those pervs. I don't allow anyone under Level One and I'm even cautious about people on Level Two being my contact or contacting me. There are a lot of creeps out there and you can never be too cautious.

  10. Yes i know what you mean! I guess they get a kick out of asking a silly question and getting answers! I actually belive it would be guys in their late teens....more immature.

Yahoo Answers is a serious site, which helpz lots of people...you can be nice and have fun without being a total immature j.ack.as.s!

The thing is i always see questions about rape and such.....i even answer some, and some are pretty obviously fake, and if not they have some serious problems! But the thing is what if it is real? Then a whole bunch of people disbeleiving you is not what you need. Even if it is fake i take the the chance and answer it sometimes...i mean what's the harm...they take  a little laugh at your expense? I don't care i could be on the other side of the world from them! But if it is a real question then i could actually be helping someone!

But there are soem very stupid and obviously fake questions on here too!

ALso some very niave people! WHo seem to know nothing about the world but you cna tell they are telling the truth....but i guess in that case Y!A is a good site for them....they get told upfront that they are wrong and get an explanation of the truth!

But please be nice baout it.....you have to give soem people more credit. Also PLEASE don't think it is all teens and such....no discrimination please!

Well have fun and try not to let it annoy you guys!

    Good luck and happy Answering!

  11. Yes, and if you try to point out how naive someone is for answering that question you get like eight thumbs down.

It's like I saw a Q saying someone was 17 and their 19-year-old boyfriend was in jail for child molestation because he slept with her and she now had a son that was never going to see his father.

I pointed out on what an obvious lie that was. The state that she said she was from had an age of consent of 16. She and her boyfriend would have faced no criminal charges. Yet people went on answering saying, "oh he deserved it" blah blah blah. I just had to use GOOGLE to get the criminal code!!!!!

I got like 5 thumbs down.

But also, I think you do not give some people enough credit. Teenagers aren't stupid. Even if they fell for it and contacted this person after a while they would figure it out.

  12. That's just the nature of the Internet.  Let the browser beware.

  13. You are talking about the Paedophiles who get great pleasure out of sites likes this.  That is the big danger when on the internet.  Yahoo should have a facility for reporting a concern.  Maybe they do. The biggest danger comes from the paedophile grooming a young person and wanting to meet up. I do wish the young ones would be more careful.  Even young mothers need to take care.

  14. i know exactly what you mean, im usually pretty good at sussing whos genuine and whos just having a laugh and then there are those ones who are just childish and try to annoy, but i compare those to little bits of **** you get on your shoe that you just wipe off lol

  15. only the pervs.

  16. yeah, pretty sick huh? ..

  17. There are so many perfy, fake (as in they aren't who they say they are) questions on here!

These types of questions didn't used to be private. It was fun to view their other questions and then quote all their different stories in an answer. It is hard not to look dumb when one minute you are 13 yr old boy, the next 11 yr old girl, both unsure if they should pick to be spanked (with lots of details about how) or grounded.

Ignore them unless you can openly prove how dumb they are, then take every chance to do it :-)

My only hope is that it is a cop waiting to bust someone who wants to meet that 13 yr old boy who wants to be spanked for getting into his sister's panties.

  18. Teens should not be so neieve as to become friends with people online like this then. If they didnt the pervs would get bored and leave.

  19. Yes, people are really naive!

I have tried to contact several people who have asked questions that interest me, but never managed to do so. (though one person did contact me about an answer I gave once).

Besides, there are plenty of sites where people can make contact without using YA.

Do you think that censorship is the right solution anyway? Quite apart from the freedom of speech issue, most personal questions would probably get bombed.

  20. To me the most obvious are the spanking questions in which the child has to do corner time in the nude.

  21. That's one problem with internet. You can say anything about yourself and you never know if to believe what others say.

We just gotta hope that people who post useless questions will grow up one day...
