I think much of our animal instinct remains intact and very active in the way we conduct ourselves. What do you think on this subject. Humans do have the capacity for reason -

  1. Question: Are people pack animals like wolves?

    Answer: Only the insecure ones

  2. No, we are social animals, like primates.

Wolves do have the most complex social structure outside of primates though.

Of course we have instincts and probable more than other animals. It is not profitable to oppose instinct and learning, as that is the social scientists error.

  3. I'm not like a pack animal because most of my friends are married and they aren't able to hang out with me most weekends. I generally look for girls on my own, and I do pretty well.

  4. Meh, I am perfectly happy in utter solitude, however, having a soul mate in your life is essentially the same thing.  Even though you are separate, you are really one.  You are merely with an extension of yourself and they are with an extension of their-self.

I am not a fan of many people in one area though....the ch'i gets kind of funky.

  5. Some are but there are others who are happy on their own, doing their own thing.

Being in a "pack" like an animal is distasteful for me as I don't like to be in order, whether at the bottom, top or somewhere in the middle.  Would rather do my own thing than be in a pecking order.

  6. na...we are more like a herd.  pending the social group of sheep or horses.

  7. we hunt more often in packs than not. yeah, overall we're like wolves.
