  1. We are considered omnivores because of our teeth design. We ARE meant to eat meat, as well as plant source food. We are not obligate carnivores, like cats, whom have only sharp pointed teeth  for meat "tearing" or obligate herbivores like horses whom have flat teeth only, for grinding plant matter. We have a mixture of these teeth. Furthermore, vegans must be very very careful to meet all required dietary needs. Most vegans have severe dietary deficiencies, especially in children. This can be overcome, but it is a very rigorous diet when done right. Great question, though!

  2. i'm sure you have.

  3. of course we are.  why do you think we have k-9 teeth?

we are meant to have balanced diets with fruit, veggies, bread and meats.

  4. Human being were not designed. We are here and we are capable of thriving on many diets.

In our current level, we have acquired the choice to eat animal products or not to.

Hunters have taken an significant ecological role in the places that allowing hunting and they also contribute to the conservation of natural habitats. The way that they hunt is not "natural" and they way the vegetarians and vegans live is not "natural" either. They both include ideal ways of living in this world.

The practices that should be outlawed are revealed in the following.

Vegan people and many hunters do not contribute to any of this and avoiding such contribution as best as possible is the right choice.

  5. Yes. That's why it tastes so good.

  6. we were designed to eat meat, it is true. we were meant to be omnivores but that doesnt mean we should run around shoving dead animals down our gullet

  7. I don't believe that what you heard was necessarily true since humans have been eating meat since the first human walked the earth. Our teeth are designed for ripping, tearing, and eating meat fibers, so I would say that we are.

  8. we used to be, but we aren't anymore.

our bodies have changed and aren't meant to consume meat

  9. Quite the opposite. Our distant ancestors ate a mainly plant diet (with some insects). But when human ancestors moved from a plant diet to an omnivorous one, their brains started to grow. Many paleoanthropoligists think that it was the improved diet that made possible the evolutionary process that led to modern Homo sapiens.

You will note that our dentition and the form of our GI tracts are quite different from those of pure plant eaters.

As far as "supposed to" goes, I guess that's a matter of individual choice.

  10. Adam and Eve didn't eat meat. They were raw vegans.

idk if you believe in the Bible or not, but i do

    =]

    i do love meat though♥

  11. Nope. Totally false. We're not "supposed" to eat meat. Humans are designed to be omnivores. If you look at our digestive tracts, from the mouth through the colon, we have a characteristics of both carnivores and herbivores. That being said, we certainly don't NEED to eat meat. It is totally possible, especially these days, to get everything you need from a plant-based diet. I also would question whether or not we are "supposed" to eat meat in the quantities that we as a society do. I don't really think that there's any biological or instinctual premise for producing massive numbers of animals in artificial environments and accelerating their growth with the use of pharmaceuticals and artificial diets. I'm more inclined to believe that we're "supposed" to hunt and/or raise animals for our own private use/consumption rather than obtain it from an unknown source.

  12. Yes. meat is wonderful if enjoyed in moderation.

  13. No it's not true. Humans have evolved (not designed) to eat meat because plant foods were not as readily available to prehistoric man as it is today.

It is theorised (and pretty much accepted in scientific circles) that early man were fruit foragers who ate off the leftover kills of predators during the lean times (winter for example). That's why the earliest forms of hunting tools resembled claws or teeth and early hunters mimicked animals.

Such as situation, however, no longer exists for some people (many people still live on a subsistence diet either through hunting or foraging or through marginal farming) so those lucky enough to have a choice at all, do choose to live exclusively on plants for a wide variety for reasons.

People in general also eat meat because they too are exercising  their right to choose.

Between 85-95% of the world's population eat meat or would choose to eat meat if available.
