Will the billions of non-Christians be surprised when they're cast into the lake of fire... or do they know deep down that Christianity is right?

  1. You're either trying to be funny or have a perverted sense of the world.

  2. Considering the question, I'll have this to say: It depends on your opinion about whether someone can lose their salvation.

So, as a non-Christian, if I found out that the Abrahamic god was right, eh, at least I'd be in the same boat as my family.

As a non-Christian who was once a very devout Christian, and believed with the whole heart, if I find out the Abrahamic god was real and don't get sent to h**l, I'll be doubly surprised.

Luckily for me, I have my gods and my ancestors to dwell with when I die, so I'm not worried about either.

  3. Do you think christians will be surprised when they realize they are damned as well? If Islam is the TRUE religion OR Budhism is the True religion OR that atheists were right the whole time.

  4. For those of you who were a little confused, uh, you are dead, and this is h**l.  So, abandon all hope and yada yada yada.

  5. What surprises me is that anyone could buy into the guilt, fear, and utter nonsense that is the buy-bull.

  6. They won't be surprised until the time is up.  Even then, there will be Christians left behind who will be able to share the Word of God with the non-believers.  God is so good and so faithful that when the most of us are caught up to be with him in the air, there will still be others who will be given a chance to be saved.  h**l was not made for man - but for satan and his fallen angels.  But because man sinned and caused the fall of all men, one man had to come and restore the relationship and fellowship with God the Father.  The only one who could do that was Jesus Christ - his Son.  Those who believe this are saved through the confession of their mouth and believing in their heart that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived among men teaching, preaching and healing, raising the dead, and loving. And when his time was spent on earth, he was made to suffer all the sins of man, was beaten, bled and died, and on the third day rose again.  Those are the children of God who will return to their spiritual place in heaven and live with him forever.   People who reject this having had the last opportunity to hear the word, unfortunately, will spend eternity in h**l.  Those who don't believe it will only believe it when they see it -and then, it will be too late.

  7. And I suppose the Christians will be surprised when they come back as pagans in their next life!  (But only if thery were really, really good, of course.)

  8. We must pray harder and offer more sacrifices on their behalf.

there will be "crying and gnashing of teeth"

The best and most efficacious sacrifice is the Lord to the Lord, in the guise of Bread and Wine.   This simple offering is pleasing to Him.  The Lord has a way of making right what once went wrong.  He rejected Cain's offering of grain and fruit, and many thousands of years later, used such a thing as a means of reparation.

The wisdom of Our Lord is like a many-faceted jewel, fascinating and almost blinding in it's beauty.

  9. What the Bible is most clear about is that "there is no respect of persons with God", only against God; And it's either with or against, either gathering or scattering, either forgiven or unforgiven, either good or corrupt, either justified or condemned, which speaks of either grace or law. So then, what you're proposing involves keeping the law, a punishing schoolmaster witch fails every student, and an unjust judge who gets vengeful when troubled, and a mediator who mediates ghostly stuff when provoked, and don't forget the tormentors, and the law worketh wrath, which can get pretty self destructive if you prefer destruction over construction, by preferring law over grace, sacrifice over mercy, divison over peace, part-iality over wholeness, few over all.

So, if I were you, I'd read Romans 2:1 and 2:11, and repent for self-condemning yourself by law judging others, which is "inexcusable".

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

  10. The only hints we have in the Bible about your question would come from Luke 16:19-31 and Matthew 7:

Matt 7:  21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Luke 16: 19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In h**l,[c] where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

  11. What happens when death and h**l are cast into the lake of fire and death and h**l dies the 2nd death?Rev 20:14) Where in your faith do all the ones go that are supposed to be already in that lake of fire for being bad? What do you do with John 5:28,29? What about Romans 6:7 where it says that death pays the penalty for sin, isn't their sinning the reason why their in h**l? If there dying pays the penalty for their sins, why are they in h**l? Do you think religion has it right? " One does", the one that believes h**l is mankind comman grave and one day death will be done away with(Rev 21:3,4.)

  12. I would be very much surprised. But as an Army Wife I have learned to adapt to all kinds of situations so h**l seems to be doable.

If not I can always hitchhike on my husband's hero-status; I'm sure that's gonna fly.

  13. Deep down only christians believe christianity is right...The rest of the world knows better.  Of more importance,, God knows christianity is not an authority, and He says so in the Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsch.  .If it makes you christians feel any better, there is no other religious book that knows God's truth.either.  Read the Conversations books.  if you really want the truth..God bless all.   Never think this answer came to you by accident..

  14. The Bible is clear !! But opposite to what you say. St Paul in Romans is explicit as can be that there is ignorance of Jesus that is culpable and ignorance that isn't. The greats of the Old Testament -- who knew not the historical Jesus -- are honored as Saints. Your question is very misguided.

If you, who obviously do have the advantage of knowing Jesus were to willfully reject Him, YOU would be more surprised than many.

But I'm sure you know this.

  15. It's your h**l,... YOU can go there.

There is no god, satan, heaven, or h**l.

    It's superstitious nonsense.

    Get over it.

  16. I'd say that especially the Christians will be surprised when Al'lah sends them to h**l for all eternity.

More surprised, probably, than the Muslims who will be cast into Jehanna by Krishna.

But perhaps just as surprised as the Hindus who will be consigned to perdition by YHWH.

But none will be as surprised as the atheists when they have to answer for their lack of faith to the Giant Invisible Pink Unicorn.

  17. What a bunch of c**p.

  18. Luk 13:24   "The door to heaven is narrow. Work hard to get in, because many will try to enter,

Luk 13:25   but when the head of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. Then you will stand outside knocking and pleading, `Lord, open the door for us!' But he will reply, `I do not know you.'

Luk 13:26   You will say, `But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.'

Luk 13:27   And he will reply, `I tell you, I don't know you. Go away, all you who do evil.'

Luk 13:28   "And there will be great weeping and gnashing of teeth, for you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets within the Kingdom of God, but you will be thrown out.

Luk 13:29   Then people will come from all over the world to take their places in the Kingdom of God.

Luk 13:30   And note this: Some who are despised now will be greatly honored then; and some who are greatly honored now will be despised then.[fn3]"

Mat 13:47   "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that is thrown into the water and gathers fish of every kind.

Mat 13:48   When the net is full, they drag it up onto the shore, sit down, sort the good fish into crates, and throw the bad ones away.

Mat 13:49   That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the godly,

Mat 13:50   throwing the wicked into the fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Rom 1:18   But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.[fn6]

Rom 1:19   For the truth about God is known to them instinctively.[fn7] God has put this knowledge in their hearts.

Rom 1:20   From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.

Rom 1:21   Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused.

Rom 1:22   Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.

Rom 1:23   And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people, or birds and animals and snakes.

Rom 1:24   So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies.

Rom 1:25   Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen.

Rom 1:26   That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have s*x and instead indulged in s*x with each other.

Rom 1:27   And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.

Rom 1:28   When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done.

Rom 1:29   Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.

Rom 1:30   They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents.

Rom 1:31   They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving.

Rom 1:32   They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too
