Are people turning to the supernatural for help in bad economic times?

I was wondering if anybody heard anything about people turning to witches or casting spells to help them get through the bad economic times.

Ya , many people do ; Infacts loads & loads of them ; I stay in India & here people turn to magic , voodoo & other supernatural influences when they are passing through their hard times ;

thats how indian people are ;
