Are people under the assumption that I'm my daughters parent or Aunt?

Question

In answering a question I offered my situation as basis for chosing adoption. If I gave the impression that I got pregnant by a relative I appologize. By the time I was 16 no one in my family could get near me. My daughters bio father is a man whom I still respect and love deeply for teaching me so many valuable things and giving me a shot at a somewhat normal life.

I read your earlier answer & just wanted to let you know I was in no confusion as to the fact your daughter was not born from incest but that you were merely trying to prevent her from experiencing the incest at the hands of your family.

i figured out that you were rachael's mom not due to incest.  in one post, you described how you placed her due to incest you'd experienced. in another you stated that her father is a man that you dated.

I'm confused by your question but I think it's awesome that both you and your daughter who was adopted as a child are both here asking and answering questions
