    From experience - No.

    Most psychics are calm meditative people, who are happy, balanced.

    But I have known some who have worked via an ego base, which is destructive & not very evolved.

  4. Psychic ability is more of a problem in a modern world, the more evolved the psychic and lacking proper quieting training, they would go out of their minds.

    All you psychics, tune in to the playing card that I've had leaning against the clock atop my entertainment center.  What card is it?  If you can't tell me, you're not a psychic.  End of story.

  12. No, Just for arguments sake. Because They can use their abilities doesn't make them more evolved. Being better at sports or higher grades doesn't make sports players or genius any more evolved. Anyone an develop a single strength talent they have and make it seen they are better than others.

If there were psychic abilities--which I'm comfortable saying there aren't--and people could practice this ability--which at the moment they can't, then they would be able to demonstrate this ability--which no one ever has.  If such an ability did exist, then I think it would be fair to say people would be better adapted to a particular environment than those who didn't have ESP.

    The phrase, "more highly evolved" implies they are better able to survive.  Although people with ESP may be better able to survive, this isn't necessarily the case.  It's possible to have a trait that neither benefits nor impedes survival.  In such instances neither group would be better evolved because neither set of traits increases the group's chances of survival.

  14. If such a thing actually existed, I'm sure someone could make the argument that psychic abilities arose as part of the evolutionary process, although that would result in many more problematic questions -- what were the evolutionary pressures that selected for this ability, what genotype/phenotype modification resulted in this functional ability, etc.

    However, given the current state with the overwhelming paucity of evidence for psychic abilities even existing, this kind of question is premature at best.

  15. No,they are blessed with very active imaginations.That and an ability to trick people into believing them.Which,obviously isn't that difficult.

  17. Absolutely. I have learned for fact that we all are mediums or psychic, if you will. This skill is within us and it can be compared to intelligence. People are intelligent, some are smarter than others, but everybody has a level of intelligence. People need to be educated and their intelligence need to be trained and directed to something good (a profession, a career, or just daily solving-problems) and people get that through school, through discipline, through books, through research, etc... To be a medium, we also need to be educated, trained and directed to something good (help and enlighten others) and mediums get that through religion, discipline, good books, research, self-control, self-awareness, etc.

  21. No, because they gain high psychic ability but they lack what we have.  There is always ups and down so everyone is equal.

  24. Not really, the fact that you know you have psychic abilities is good. The more your consciousness grows, the more these things come of their own natural accordance.

    These people just decided to focus on that particular aspect out of everything possible.

    Who knows, you may be better at math than them......doesn't make anyone better nor worse hey?
