Are pet monkeys iligal in colorado and do they cost alot

i want to get a apet monkey but i need to know if they are iligal or legal

I want a pet monkey too but Micheal Jackson payed like 1 million for his monkey.  He has like a whole zoo in his back yard with a lion and a girraffe no joke. That would be awsome but you have to have a lot of money. And you have to have some kind of lisence and the room too. I live in colorado too!

Price would depend on what kind of monkey you want, Like Marmosets run around 2000- 4000 bucks on up to capuchins that run from 7000-10,000

To find out if you can have them where you live you would need to call your local Fish and Wildlife people. They can tell you about the laws were you live.
