Are petco's parrots safe?

i went to petco and happened to look at the parrots they had and i saw one named eddie. he was a small parrot and i was wondering if i sould conseider buying him. he was greena dn black. idk if he is still there buy i want a parrot. what kind should i get?

Sometimes pet stores can have unhealthy birds so just make sure to ask for the health records of the bird. Im sure that the bird is fine, just know some parrots are very noisy so make sure to do your research on this type of parrot. Look into if they are good pets to have and just know with every bird, yeah, you might get bit. Doing your online research can help a lot, even if people respond in telling you what type of parrot is good, you still want to look into it to make sure its right for you. I happen to have 2 parrots along with some other birds.

What is fun is teaching a parrot how to talk :) you can really get creative because parrots are smart.

I can't tell you really any type that is good because I don't know what your expectations are so like i said just do your research and Im sure you will find your parrot in no time!

A Pet store may be safe and everything. But buy your bird from a good breeder in your location.  This is where they get alot of their birds, so why pay them when you can go stright to the source.
