  1. Yes.  The phenotype is the appearance, regardless of the gene combination behind the trait.

    Some phenotypes will not appear in a F1 hybrid generation, some will, and some intermediate forms will appear (e.g. red + white --> pink).


  2. phenotype is a physical makeup of an organism and genotype is genatic makeup.

  3. The phenotype is what trait is expressed.

    For example you carry the gene for black hair and brown hair in your chromosomes. B=black b=brown

    Bb=genotype

    Since black is the dominant gene than that means you will have black hair. Black hair is the phenotype. Phenotype is just what gene is expressed.
