  1. The truth is that no one knows. Pistachio Nuts are not inherently dangerous for dogs, not like Macadamia Nuts. But, there are elements in all nuts that in high concentrations can cause damage to a dogs organs and cause kidney and bladder stones. There are some things to definitely avoid such as chocolate (in large quantities), onions, raisins and grapes.

    Other than those things dogs enjoy some variety in snacks and much like us can usually handle a little of something new. The most important thing is not to vary their diet too much, too often, or to give them large quantities of anything new (especially little dogs). Keep in mind that the diet a dog eats is extremely regular when compared to ours and anything new can cause digestive problems.
