  1. No, they hate it.

Global warming will cause drought all around the world, severely damaging agriculture (and most plants).

Rich countries can cope, but it will cost them huge sums of money and damage their economy.  In poor countries many people will die of starvatiom.

It's a huge disaster if we do nothing.

  2. none of Nature is in favor of Global Warming many species of plants and animals are dying or getting sick because of minute temperature changes already ,and nothing benefits

some people in cold places may be happy right now ,but it will be a short lived happiness .

their food tends to come from places that are getting into big trouble

1 degree of rise in temperature means 10% crop loss

  3. Nearly all life forms would benefit.  A warmer planet would support more life.

  4. Sorry this is false !

Look I don´t know a lot but I learned in biology that for the cultivation of most plants, especially the ones supplying us food, the most efficient watering is in the earling morning, at sunset or night because the temperature is cooler and the evaporation lower.

Also, power plants by cooling themselves increase the mortality of fish by artificially increasing the temperature of the water.

And yes there are little benefits to some plants, but they are almost all alreadyy cancelled by o3 (ozone) resulting from the fossile fuel combustion which are blamed for global warming.

And I don´t even speak about sulfur or nitrous emissions...

What might generally happen is that only some plants will be advantaged while the majority will have a harder time to adapt. There are going to be only a few winners and the ecosystem is going to get poorer. Just like this one algae which is all around all Florida.

  5. I will assume that plants have an opinion.

Generally, the answer is yes.  As the previous answerer said, plants and most life forms would receive a general benefit from a warming climate.

However, it also depends on which plants you ask.  If you ask shrubs plants on the southern edge of tundra, they might say no because trees gain an advantage in warmer temps and would outcompete the shrubs.  Organisms have a range of habitat in which they survive the best.  You change the habitat and you get a shift in species - examples are seen in the shifting of treeline northward, and shrubbification of arctic tundra.  This occurs because of competitive adaptations in species.

Example - you have a bunch of dogs.. huskies, shepards, labs, chihuahuas etc..  increase the temp and huskies are now at a disadvantage because they overheat when they exert themselves too much.
