Are pocket bikes street legal in regional Melbourne, Victoria?

Well yeah, thinking of buying one (49cc), just wondering if i would be able to ride them around on the road etc

  1. No they are certainly not. Any motorbike or vehicle must be fully registered before being able to be driven or riden on Victorian rads.

    Pocket bikes are not classed as a motorbike or vehicle and can not be registered.

    The fines are heavy if you get caught.
