"Are police jobs plentiful in Michigan? I was goinging to enter the police academy in 2009. Hopefully it will not be a waste of time or money. I already have my B.S. in Criminal Justice. What do you think?"

.  If you are willing to work in a small town or as a deputy at a prison (and then transfer later) you can have a job. Budget cutbacks are hitting the big cities.
