  1. 800 voters polled daily in large cities like New York, San Francisco, etc.

Polls aren't reliable except to give sort of a standing to compare candidates.  They cannot be trusted to predict who will win the election.

  2. The results of polls are praised by whoever the poll has on top at the moment and cursed by the underdog. Neocon fundie Repugnicans were crowing "we gots da bizounce" a few days ago, today Gallup has the Dumbocrats up, 51-44 or something like that. Yay yesterday, boohoo today. Yay today, boohoo tomorrow. The only poll that really counts take place on November 4th.

And yeah: janitors shouldn't be heard? or they don't know how to count? or are you saying they're black, therefore can't count AND shouldn't vote? It's unclear to me, as written.

    BTW: that poll of 60 Marines: 53 + 5 + 3 = 61. See, even eyewitnesses can be wrong.

In the end: vote for a meaningful level of change. I'm voting my pocketbook this year; I'd vote my heart, but it broke 8 years ago, quickly followed by my wallet. Fortunately, heart and wallet coincide this year. Say Hallelujah!

  3. Friend in Iraq said they polled 60 marines on who they were going to vote for 53 said McCain, 5 Obama and 3 Hillary.  Then when the poll stats came out in the paper it was stated the opposite in favor of Obama.  Well, he was pissed because he was there and knew the truth.

  4. Thats why polls really dont mean all that much honestly.

  5. Why are you so hateful towards people? Yes there are low numbers, and yes they are suspect.  Are Janitors not worth asking? Do their votes not matter?
