I mean really, I don't want the myths, I would like to hear from Moms who have had both, did you notice anything different in your pregnancies with boys vs pregnancies with girls? I already have a little girl, so I am very, very curious?

Thanks

  1. My friend was sick with both her children (a girl and a boy), another was very sick with her 3rd pregnancy, so she started believing the old wives tales, thought it was a girl...wrong...she has 3 boys.   My brother's girlfriend is pregnant with my nephew and she says she can't eat certain things she could when she was pregnant with my niece..and she's much bigger this time around.

I agree, they are all different.

  2. I am on my 3rd pregnancy (all girls) and each one was different.

I swore I was having a boy this time because I look and feel so much better...but nope, another girl!

  3. I've not got any girls but my pregnancies with my sons were different. My sister has 2 girls and her pregnancies were different too.

  4. hi there i have a girl and a boy and with my wee girl i had really bad morning sickness and had a really straight forward pregnacy but with my boy i had no morning sickness and had a really bad pregnancy

    good luck and congrats!

  5. I have 2 boys and a girl.  2 boys came first then my girl.  With the boys, each of the pregnancies was relatively easy.  A little morning sickness, but all around I felt very good.  With my daughter, holy c**p!!!  Migrane headaches, nausea, back aches and just a blah feeling.  Migranes were the worse though.  She kicked my butt!  It wasn't like that the whole pregnancy but all of the 1st trimester and about 1/2 of the second.  That's how I knew even before our ultrasound that she was a girl!!!

  6. My cousin has one of each...and each pregnancy was the same.  Carried the same, as sick the same...everything.

  7. My second one was so different - all on the front - I thought I was having a boy but had another girl

  8. Hi well as I am having my first baby which is a boy I cannot tell weather or not having a boy is different to having a girl but going from what other people have told me its hard to say, my mum had 2 boys first then me, she said with my first brother she had a small bump all out front and then with my second brother she had a bigger bump and she seemed to be all round, then when she had me the only difference was that she had bad indegestion from the start and she went off all foods thats how she knew I was different and perhaps going to be a girl.

I also bumped into an old school friend this morning she already has a girl and I remember seeing her when she was expecting and she was quite big all over, and today when she found out I was expecting I am 38 weeks she told me she was 5 months and you could tell she wasnt even showing, I said do you think its a boy then with being different and she said yep and was going to find out later on today what she is having, so when I see her again as she works in a shop in town I am going to ask her to see if she is having a boy or girl.

I dont believe in the rubbish that people carry one way with a boy and one way with a girl, as I was told by my midwife that I was carrying really differnetly than to other she has seen lol I am moslty all out front and on the hip and bum, where as I think with a girl you put on more weight all over.

Who knows sometimes people get really bad morning sickness and trouble with one s*x and dont with the other.
