Are prepaid phone rates the same for all carriers? ?

Virgin Mobile offers unlimited texting for $10 (for prepaid phones)

My friend then told me that it was like that for all carriers...so I'm a little confused

no not at all ever carrier has different rates for everything from amount per minute to extra featers like text,pix,internet, and acess fee's

Well its according on if u get a prepaid phone with a plan or not.  U can get some phones where u just buy the phone and u can buy like 10 and 20 dollar cards to put on it at a gas station
