  1. Defiantly not

  2. no and they cant go on jury service either  lol

  3. Last known under 18's, prisoners and people certified insane, (or mentally ill), are not allowed the vote.

  4. the answer is NO and must stay that way, people who commit crimes against  society  have no rights

  5. no

  6. It has definitely been mooted, but I am not sure what its current status is. It wouldn't surprise me if the EU allowed them to sit for Parliament.

  7. NO they are not

  8. No but in Scotland these lot are trying to get a payment of £3000 from the Government because they claim it was an infringement of there rights not being able to vote It is going through the courts at this moment in time no doubt they will get the money I always thought when you went to prison you lost any rights? I see the authorities were fitting big plasma TV screens in the prisons for them to watch costing thousands! As our pensioners freeze to death with little affordable heating available I ask you who are the criminals??

  9. No it is one of the Civil liberties, therefore they can't vote

  10. No and neither are lunatics, members of the aristocracy or the Royal Family.

Mind you, looking at some of the prats we've elected to the House of Commons, one wonders if in fact lunatics are allowed to stand for election but not vote in one.

  11. The other two answers are absolutely correct.  However there are moves here in Scotland for prisoners to be allowed to vote under Human Rights legislation. There is to be Court action on this in the near future;  I wonder if there are similar moves in England.
