Are psychopaths born psychopaths?

Question

I'm just curious, if psychopaths are what they are due to genetics, environmental factors, or both....but I guess the real question is *how is that so*??

I believe it is a learned behavior. This usually is due to something dramatic that occurred in their life growing up. I do not believe it is genetic, however is blamed all too often on such. Very similar to a sociopath.....

there is ceratin percent of people who are genetically predisponed to suffer from sociopathy, either criminal or non-criminal. the culture and social response to the sociopathic behaviour reduce the actual number of fully developed sociopaties.

the sociopahy /with criminal subgroup of psychopaths and noncriminal group of deprivants -peoplestrggling for power/ seems to be valid behavioral strategy in the cooperative societies, where it finds the best chance to parasite on predominantly alltruistic population

the actual number of psychopaths is estimated to 10 percents of male and 5 percents of female - as far as i remember. the numbers were issued related to real population, and veryfied in prison populations, where male psychopaths were one third? of population

no. they are made. just like nice people. your personality is what the world has made you as youve grown up. thats why most phycopaths and murders have been abused and mistreated as a child.

I don't know if someone can become a psychopath because of genes, environmental factors or any of that stuff

but someone become psychopaths because of something that happened or an experience which traumatized them

That is the usual reason
