Are pterodactyls real or fiction?

Is there any record of their existence? People have told me that there fiction. I personally think there cool.

Pterodactyls and pteranadon were real. Pteranadon had a forty foot wingspan, and yes they were very cool.

people have told you they are fiction?  hahaha.  what morons.   pterodactyl is a dinasaur that lived millions of years ago, and is now extinct.  We have fossil evidence of them existing.  You cant despute fossils.... they are just cold, hard truth.

I think they're real, or they existed.

I remember seeing quite a few fossils of them in the Natural History Museum in New York when I was a kid.

They were real.  Pterodactyls were flying reptiles in the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.  They aren't just things from stories.  Fossils have been found.  Whoever told you they were fiction is an idiot that needs to get their facts straight.
