Are published books vegan?

i don't know yes or no, but books are normally held togther via glue, also the ink and pages comeinto doubt as well. so are books vegan?

yes, glues are synthetic, ink is soy. there is no animal stuff. I have seen some art that would not be vegan.

glue is no longer made with animal ingredients.  That was a long time ago.  They are synthetic since WWII I believe.

Some of the better ones have leather covers. I've had a few books that looked to have silk incorporated into the covers too. If you have ever seen a pulp mill in operation you would think a number of bugs get into the mix too.
